Country Director @ EnergyLab
Bridget McIntosh is the Country Director of EnergyLab, an organisation established to facilitate the growth of the clean energy market in Cambodia, with a particular focus on startups, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Bridget has over 20 years’ experience working in Australia, Asia and the Pacific facilitating clean energy projects. She has highly diverse experience – having worked for large energy utility, a small start-up, government agencies, international multilateral organisations, engineering consulting. In Asia, Bridget established a business to catalyse and support clean energy projects access the carbon finance market – she had the privilege to work alongside wind, solar, hydro and biomass project developers in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and PNG. Prior to this Bridget worked with the Cambodian Climate Change Office of the Ministry of Environment. Before recently arriving back in Cambodia, Bridget worked at the University of Technology Sydney for the Institute for Sustainable Futures. Bridget led ISF’s contribution towards supporting clean energy entrepreneurship and startups, as well as coordinating events to profile clean energy. She was also involved with research projects relating to innovation in electricity retail and networks.
Bridget has an honours degree in Environmental Engineering and an MBA Graduate Certificate.
